The SHIP INN is a traditional village pub, with a restaurant serving fresh SEAFOOD and STEAKS. We welcome all our visitors and promote a casual atmosphere in the dining room. Food can be eaten on the covered beer terrace during the warmer months; where you can enjoy the view of the stunning River Dart. Our grand bar is flanked by two open fireplaces with log fires.

The same menu is available in all areas and each week the Chef creates meals to accommodate the varied, seasonal, local and very fresh produce. Our seafood travels less than 200 yards from the Fishing Boat to our kitchen so you can enjoy the freshest fish, crab and scallops. All produce is purchased from local suppliers. All food is freshly prepared and home-cooked on the premises. Please note fish dishes can change according to availability. Feel free to browse our menu to see our current dishes.

To save any disappointment, we would ask all our customers, where possible, to please phone first to check on the availability of space and to discuss your personal food requirements. We can accommodate up to 36 persons for restaurant group bookings or a buffet can be arranged for larger groups.
