| The SHIP INN is a traditional village pub, with a restaurant serving fresh SEAFOOD and STEAKS. We welcome all our visitors and promote a casual atmosphere in the dining room, food can be eaten on the covered beer terrace during the warmer months, where you can enjoy the view of the stunning River Dart. Our two Bar rooms both have an open fireplace with log fires. The same menu is available in all areas and each week the Chef creates meals to accommodate the varied, seasonal, local and very fresh produce. Our seafood travels less than 200yards from the Fishing Boat to our kitchen. Bookings for Restaurant To save any
disappointment, we would ask all our customers, where possible to please
phone first to check on the availability of space, and to discuss your
personal food requirements. We can accommodate up to 36 persons for
restaurant group bookings, or a buffet for larger groups can be arranged.

King IPA is a great tasting beer, characterized by its fresh, hoppy
taste and clean, bitter finish.

For 2006 we are pleased to announce that the Ship Inn in Kingswear is our branch pub of the year! Congratulations to all at the pub! The award was presented to Colin and Heather Lang on the 22nd March 2006, and the photo shows branch chairman Ian Packham (pictured centre) with Colin and Heather.
